We're thrilled to announce that Rocket Insights has once again been named a Top Place to Work by The Boston Globe. We are ranked #23 in the list of Small Employers in Massachusetts.

The Globe recognizes the most admired workplaces in the state voted on by their employees. The survey measures employee opinions about their company’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement. This year's rankings are based on survey results from more than 80,000 employees at 363 Massachusetts companies.

This type of recognition is always a big honor because it comes from our team. We were psyched to make the list in 2020 during an absolute shit show of a year, and making it again in 2021 just shows that whether we’re at home, in the office, or anywhere in between, everyone contributes to making the culture at Rocket as great as it is.

This year, we're also super excited to be featured in two of the Globe's stories about the winners.

Aaron Pressman spoke with our very own Dave Witting for his story on how companies are adapting their office strategies as some people return to work. Dave, who never misses an opportunity to plug our tiki bar, talks about how we've made the decision to ditch the big centralized office in Boston and instead focus on smaller clubhouse offices in Salem, Boston and Portland, ME (in addition to Newburyport). And how we're adding fun features to each office, like an arcade or maker space.

“It’s just goofy stuff that gives people an excuse to come and visit,” Witting says. “We’re giving them a reason that has nothing to do with our business to come into the office and spend time together.”

Rocket was also mentioned in Pranshu Verma's story on diversity and inclusion, noting that Rocket and our parent company, Dept, share a goal of 40% of our managers being female or nonbinary by 2023.

Big thanks to our team for continuing to be the best in the business. Here's hoping 2022 has more awesome and less Omicron.
